1.      Importance of performance appreciation in working place

The appreciation of the performance is crucial in the workplace and will be benefited in many ways. Most importantly it will increase the productivity of the employees because when they get to know that they will be appreciated, they will become more efficient and their morale will be increased (Cotsen, 2020).

 They will feel that they are valuable t the organization. In addition, they will work harder to make it better than earlier. When employees are appreciated, then it will lead to an increase in the morale of other employees in the organization and they also will be motivated to do their job perfectly. Employees will be very dedicated and improve their dedication as well as being loyal to the organization (Dr. Trent Kaufman, 2013)

When appreciating the employees may help to reduce the turnover of the employees and make them stay at the work happily. To appreciate the performance, management needs to evaluate the performance of the employees. 

When evaluating the performance, they will understand the level of skills, knowledge, and abilities of the employees to organize the workshops and skill development programs. Further, it may result in identifying the employees with misunderstandings and miss directions and make them in the correct direction and increase understanding. In addition, employees focus on the results of the process and it ensures that goals are aligned with the company’s mission and finally it may increase the profitability of the organization. When appreciating the performance, it is important to make it quick, appreciate at the right time, and give it to the right employees. 

Unless employees will be demotivated instead of motivating. Further performance appreciation is another tool to drive core values. When employees are appreciated it makes them self-esteem. Moreover, this may prevent the dissatisfaction of the employees in the long term. 

Some employees keep many problems and difficulties in their back and work with it. When appreciating employees they will feel free to their problems and when managers able to help them, that is how it helps to increase the satisfaction in the long-term. These are the reasons why appraisal of the employees is more important to the organization and which ultimately results in high profits, achieving company goals, objectives and achieve success in the long-term.

  3. when employees gets appreciation their job satisfaction and employee engagement high. Therefore, motivation and productivity increase. The article could have been more interesting if author explain with the real examples.
