1. Creating  maximum efficiency in the workplace during the Covid pandemic

Surveys have found that efficiency has increased by working at home during the COVID pandemic (McCallum, 2020). Remote working makes people more efficient because they work at home with less stress and they are not tied traveling from home to the workplace and they are free to work at any time slot in their 24 hours (Cancel, 2018).

If organizations want to increase their efficiency more, they can set up the goals and the time frames to achieve goals. Moreover, organizations need to think about the allocated task of the employees which are less efficient and the solutions to make them more efficient. Moreover, the organization needs to think about their employees’ safety and health and make employees aware that the company thinks about them and it makes the trust and morale of the employees and it leads to increase efficiency.

Another way is building a continuity plan for the organization (Ernst and Young Global, 2020). When building the plan, the organization should think about the workforce strategy and put people first and needs to find the best strategy to convey that plan to the employees.

Unless that plan will be useless. Make employees social even they are in social distance is another strategy to increase the efficiency of the employees. Moreover, employees should have easy access to talk with their managers or leaders about different matters and get guidance from them to solve the problems and to make reliable decisions.

Organizations should think of getting rid of one-way communication methods and turn to listen to the employees and help them with the pandemic situation while working on (McCallum, 2020). When employees are updated about their work, daily tasks, and the situation of the organization and its policies. It makes employees aware of the important information.

That makes them think they are important to the organization and it leads to an increase in the efficiency of the organization. The organization should make sure that employees get the right information here. Unless these ways will be useless. Further, understanding the employees’ efforts and recognizing them, understanding the use of technology, and how important that is to increase the efficiency of the workplace are other two things that will increase the efficiency of the workplace.

  2. COVID 19 has create unavoidable impact most of the organization around the world. Therefore, organizations have to find the methods continue their activates with least interruption. The best techniques are flexible working hours and working at home. work from home increases employees’ autonomy in scheduling and organizing their work. Employees with higher autonomy have a stronger intrinsic motivation and are therefore willing to provide more work effort ( Bailey and Kurland 2002).
